We are a family owned and family oriented business with a very simple goal, to glorify God with providing economical groceries to our community. Our desire is to fill a need we seen in Bronson and surrounding areas with economical yet wholesome food. We shop the market to find closeouts, overstocks and slightly damaged goods, then pass on the savings to our customers.
The Owners
Sam and Miriam Wickey along with their children, Jason David, Lukas Jon, Joshua Aaron, and Lauren Janelle started Discount Foods of Bronson LLC in April of 2013 after seeing a need in the community. We started with a 1000 sq ft. store front in downtown Bronson. We quickly outgrew that and after prayerfully considering the options decided to purchase the ice cream shop on the west edge of town 2015. We added 3600 sq ft. and on December 20 of that year we opened at our current location. We soon we started getting feed back to open The Ice Cream Parlor.
Manager
Martha Bontrager is currently managing day to day operations. She has become almost iconic at the store with her constant presence. She desires to glorify God by continuing to offer wholesome groceries at budget prices to the community. Her children Michael, Kristen, Austin and Karen occasionally come to offer assistance and a smile to our customers and the rest of the team members.

These girls have created an environment that is pleasant to work and shop in. We are so grateful to have them. They share our initial goals of serving our community.
